Join us for our first ever Open House & Field Day!
AYSO Region 42, along with the Conejo Recreation and Park District and Boy Scout Troop 730, is hosting a fun family event for our Newbury Park community!
WHERE: Pepper Tree Playfield, 3720 Old Conejo Rd., Newbury Park, CA 91320
WHEN: Saturday, May 7, 2022, 9 AM – 1 PM
WHO: Children ages 4–18 (must be accompanied by an adult). This does NOT include pets of any kind.
Returning players? New players? Not even sure if you even WANT to play? ALL ARE WELCOME. (Except pets. Did we mention NO PETS?)
And entry into the event is absolutely FREE, and so is all the other fun stuff that goes along with it, including:
- FREE soccer skills clinics (by age group) put on by our amazing Coach Instructors, and fun games for the kids! We'll have soccer darts, soccer tennis, a soccer penalty kick...I mean, c'mon. Tell me that doesn't sound like fun.
- Enter a FREE drawing for great prizes from our amazing donators, including: LA Galaxy tickets; a Trader Joe's gift basket; gift cards from Albertsons, Cronie's, Coaches Ice Cream, The Alamo, AMC Theaters, and Country Harvest; The Mighty Axe; and many, MANY more! You don't have to be present to win, just present to enter.
- Did we mention FOOD? That's FREE too! Join us for Kona Ice, Coaches Ice Cream, cotton candy, and some other stuff that ISN'T sugar! (Like drinks, sandwiches, pizza, and chips, oh my!)
- We'll also have folks on hand in case you have questions or need help registering for our AYSO Region 42 Fall 2022 season! Registration is NOT required to attend, but we bet you'll have so much fun, it'll seem like a no-brainer. And the best part? Our help is ALSO FREE!!!!(*Registration is not, however, so visit our registration page for more details)
- And just in case you need some soccer gear, or want to see what's out there in terms of home soccer nets and goals, we'll have local community partners BK Sports and Bownet out as well, helping us have a great time with their volunteers and ready to answer any questions you may have! Sadly our streak ends here...their stuff is probably not free.
