Fall 2020 Registration Information

Our registration system is now open for WAIT LIST REGISTRATION ONLY for Fall 2020 as we gauge community interest and continue to monitor state and local guidelines for youth sports to determine the feasibility of a Fall season that will allow for a safe and fun environment for players, volunteers, and spectators.(updated June 3, 2020)

If you need assistance with the process, we have help pages that you can open in a new tab or window. ¿No habla inglés?

How to register

  1. Create an account (show help page) or log in to an existing account. Please create only one account per family. One additional person (e.g., another parent or other family member) may be added during the account creation process. Others may be added afterwards.
  2. Add participants (players) (show help page). For players new to Region 42 Newbury Park, proof of date of birth is required (birth certificate, passport, or baptismal certificate, etc.) and can be uploaded into the registration system or mailed in with the player form
  3. Register for the 2020 Fall Soccer program (show help page)
    1. You must use electronic signature ("eSign") to indicate that you accept all agreements.
    2. No fee is due while we are in wait list status only. If it is determined that a Fall season is feasible, an email will be sent by the registration system letting you know that your player has been activated from the wait list. We ask that you log back into your account at that time and complete payment within 48 hours of receipt of the notification email. The registration fee will be $125 per player.
    3. Payment by credit or debit card is preferred, which can be completed on the web site once players are activated..
    4. If you MUST pay by cash or check, complete the registration process up to the payment portion and email the Registrar at [email protected] for instructions.
    5. If the Fall season is determined to be feasible and once payment is completed, you will be asked to print one copy of the completed player form and provide it to the Region. More information regarding this process will be provided.
  4. A skills evaluation for new players in our 10U and older divisions MAY be required in order to balance teams. Additional information will be communicated at a later date.

Registration is not complete until we receive the printed registration form, even if you pay online. This is because these coaches must have physical copies of these forms at all practices and games, and we have nearly 1,200 players, so it is cost-prohibitive for us to print out forms for everyone, so thank you for doing us this small favor.

AYSO VIP Program

The AYSO Very Important Players (VIP) Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. VIP teams may include those who are:

  • Blind or visually impaired
  • Amputees or with conditions that impair mobility
  • Mentally or emotionally challenged
  • Autistic
  • Down syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy

These youngsters are Very Important Players (VIP) in AYSO. We recognize that all children need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. The VIP program offers that acceptance and carries the AYSO philosophy of Everyone Plays® to new heights – giving everyone a chance to play.

VIP is an alternative for young people choosing to enjoy modified rules, field size, and assistance of a helpful "buddy" on the field as needed. Anyone ages 5 – 18 years, regardless of disability, is welcome to register.

Players looking to register for VIP may do so at Region 4 in Agoura Hills or Region 68 in Camarillo.

Additional general information on the AYSO VIP Program is also available at the VIP page on the National AYSO site.

AYSO EXTRA™ and AYSO United

AYSO EXTRA™ is a competitive soccer program for players who want to play at a more competitive level. We do not offer this program, but some of our neighboring regions do, including Region 9 Thousand Oaks, Region 68 Camarillo, Region 4 Agoura, Region 363 Moorpark, and Region 121 Simi Valley. Information concerning those tryouts can be found on the respective websites. More information about the program in general may be found at the AYSO National web site.

AYSO United is a competitive soccer program that plays under the auspices of the CalSouth club soccer league. Players in this program will compete against local club teams such as Newbury Park Soccer Club, LA Galaxy Conejo Valley, or Real SoCal. Information concerning their tryouts can be found at our local United program, AYSO United Rancho Conejo. For more information about United in general, please see the AYSO United web site.
