AYSO Region 42 – Newbury Park, CA

Fall Registration Information

¿No habla inglés?

Registration for Fall opens April 1st.

How to register

  1. Create an account or log in to an existing account using your primary email address (Stack Sports uses a single-login across sports leagues based on your email address). Please create only one account per family and use the parent/guardian's information to create the account; NOT the player's! One additional person (e.g., another parent, guardian, or family member) may be added and linked to the account during the creation process. Others may be added later once the account has been created.
  2. Add participants (players). For players new to Region 42 Newbury Park, proof of date of birth is required (birth certificate, passport, or baptismal certificate, etc.) and should be uploaded into the registration system. If you have issues uploading your document(s), please email the Registrar at [email protected]
  3. Register for the Fall Soccer program
    1. You must use electronic signature ("eSign") to indicate that you accept all agreements and waivers
    2. Early Bird registration begins April 1st at $225 per player until April 30th, with regular registration $265 per player after April 30th. This year, we are offering a multi-player discount - your family's first two players will be at the Early Bird or Regular price (depending on when you register), and any additional family players will receive $75 off registration. A limited number of scholarships are available for low-income families or those with limited financial resources. Please email the Registrar at [email protected] for details.
    3. Payment online by credit or debit card is preferred. For players on our wait list, payment will not be required unless your player is activated.
    4. If you must pay by cash or check, complete the registration process up to the payment section and email the Registrar at [email protected]
    5. If you are unable to complete the online registration, or have difficulties with the process, please email the Registrar at [email protected]

  4. A skills evaluation for new players in our 10U and older divisions will be required in order to balance teams. Additional information will be communicated at a later date.

Please see our frequently asked questions (FAQ).

Registration Costs for 2026-27

For the Fall 2026 - 2027 Season, Early Bird registration begins April 1st at $225 per player until April 30th, with regular registration $265 per player after April 30th. This year, we are offering a multi-player discount - your family's first two players will be at the Early Bird or Regular price (depending on when you register), and any additional family players will receive $75 off registration.

Please take advantage of our lower Early Bird pricing and get your registration done before April 30th. The process is very easy and straightforward, but do not wait - teams fill up quickly and placement is only guaranteed for those who sign up (or speak with the Registrar) before we go to waitlist at the end of regular registration!  If you need financial assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to our Registrar for more information.

FOR NEW PLAYERS: If your player has never played in AYSO before, you must upload date of birth documentation during the registration process. This can be a birth certificate, passport, baptismal certificate, etc. If you have any questions or issues uploading your document, please email our Region 42 Registrar.

Age Divisions for 2026–27

Divisions Changed to School Year for 2026

Previously, U.S. Soccer had a "birth year" mandate to define ages in divisions which AYSO was required to follow.  In 2024 U.S. Soccer removed this mandate.
In March 2025, AYSO announced a return to a "seasonal year" (school year) alignment.  This return to the school year alignment allows players to play with their classmates.  We understand that this may mean a 3rd year in a division for some players.

This return to the school year alignment is made on a national basis, but not everyone's school year across the country starts at the same time.  If your child has an August birthdate and would like to be in the same division with classmates, please reach out to our Registrar. We are able to consider these requests on a case-by-case basis.

AYSO EPIC Program

The AYSO EPIC Program provides a quality soccer experience for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. EPIC teams may include those who are:

  • Blind or visually impaired
  • Amputees or with conditions that impair mobility
  • Mentally or emotionally challenged
  • Autistic
  • Down syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy

We recognize that all children need to feel a sense of belonging and acceptance. The EPIC program offers that acceptance and carries the AYSO philosophy of Everyone Plays® to new heights – giving everyone a chance to play.

VIP is an alternative for young people choosing to enjoy modified rules, field size, and assistance of a helpful "buddy" on the field as needed. Anyone ages 5 – 18 years, regardless of disability, is welcome to register.

Players looking to register for VIP may do so at Region 9 Thousand Oaks, Region 4 in Agoura Hills or Region 68 in Camarillo.

AYSO United

AYSO United is a competitive soccer program that plays under the auspices of the CalSouth club soccer league. Players in this program will compete against local club teams such as Newbury Park Elite, Oaks FC, or Eagles. Information concerning their tryouts can be found at our local United program, AYSO United Rancho Conejo. For more information about United in general, please see the AYSO United web site.
