Breakers ‘97 White Win Michigan Soccer Classic 2010

Not pictured: Liberty Fets, Olivia Lang The Breakers 97 White team coached by Frank Schulte spent their Labor Day weekend, September 3-6, taking top honors by winning the Michigan Soccer Classic tournament in Rochester. The Breakers opened the tournament with a decisive 4-0 win over the Michigan Sting. In the second game, the Breakers were edged out by RSC Lightning 2-1, but they fought back in their third tournament match with another convincing result of 5-0 over the tournament host team Magic Black. The Breakers moved on to the championship game and a rematch with the Rochester Lightning. The Breakers earned a hard-fought 1-0 decision for redemption against the Lightning and the tournament title. Congratulations to coach Schulte and his Breakers ‘97 White team on a great tournament!
