AYSO Region 42 is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization; a nationwide non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs. AYSO's mission is to provide quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family-oriented soccer environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies:
AYSO Region 42 is located in Newbury Park, CA. Registration is open to boys and girls from all areas (you do not have to live in Newbury Park) ages 4 thru 18 years old. (The player's age on July 31, 2009 will be used to determine registration eligibility and placement in the appropriate age division.) Our regular season runs from early September through November, with games being played on Saturdays. (U16 and U19 divisions have games throughout the week.) AYSO is run by volunteers; coaches, assistant coaches, teams parents, referees, region board members, and more...they're all volunteers! If you would like to volunteer for one of these positions please contact one of our Board Members who can help you get started. If you are going to volunteer to fill one of these roles -- or even if you think you might -- you must register as a volunteer using e•AYSO: AYSO's online registration tool. Please go to the e•AYSO website and complete your registration for the upcoming season. Even if you volunteered in the past you must complete, print, and sign a new registration form each and every year.
