Extra program logo

AYSO Extra is a competitive soccer league designed to provide a more challenging level of play for those players who possess the appropriate interest, skills and abilities. Coaches are chosen based on their training level and qualifications. The Extra program is designed to enhance each player's experience and individual growth through the game of soccer while retaining the spirit, organization and six philosophies of AYSO. There will be only one or two teams in each division in the first year; more teams may be added in subsequent years. Additional teams and divisions (U15 through U19) will be added in subsequent years. See the AYSO Region 42 Extra FAQ page for additional information.

Openings are still available in some divisions and tryouts are being held next week.
If you have a player interested in AYSO Extra, please contact Jo-Anne Guerriere, Extra Program Coordinator

REMINDER: NO PETS OF ANY KIND PERMITTED AT ANY AYSO EVENT -- INCLUDING PRACTICES
While neighbors around our fields may walk their pets around the park's paths, no pets of any kind may be near the fields themselves. This includes but is not limited to: dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, dragons, lizards, and birds. This is not only part of our permit conditions, but is also for the safety of our players. A few seasons ago one of our players, as he ran to retrieve a ball, was bitten by a normally docile dog with no history of aggression. To help ensure the safety of our players, referees may stop play until the dog has left the field area. So please, no pets at the fields.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER AT E•AYSO
All volunteers, please go to the e•AYSO website and complete your registration for the upcoming season. Even if you volunteered in the past you must complete, print, and sign a new registration form each and every year.

Please get your form submitted ASAP. You will not be registered as a volunteer until our CVPA (Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate) enters your Pre-Registration form into the National AYSO database. At that time, new volunteers will be issued an AYSO ID number. If you are not registered, you are not eligible to participate in AYSO activities.

AYSO is run by volunteers; coaches, assistant coaches, teams parents, referees, region board members, and more...they're all volunteers! If you are filling one of these roles you MUST register as a volunteer using e•AYSO: AYSO's online registration tool.
