We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about your Player Development Officers (PDOs) for The Fall Soccer Season 2012.
niall marshall
This is Niall Marshall's 3rd year working as a PDO with Region 42 here in Newbury Park. He has been playing soccer all his life, and coaching for 12 years. He is fully licensed by the Scottish Football Association for working with Children 5-12 years of age, and for Coaching Youth Footballers from 12-18 years old. He has had the great fortune of coaching with professional soccer team Motherwell Football Club in Scotland. He was heavily involved in Ladies Soccer in Scotland, coaching Queens Park Ladies Football Club and as Head Coach of Glasgow University Womens Football Club, where he had the distinction of being the first coach in the University's history to win the Scottish Conference Cup. He also spent two years as Head Coach of Glasgow University Mens U21 Football Club. Locally, he trained the Agoura High School Boys Varsity Team, has also worked with Region 42s Regular, All-Star and Extra Teams, and with other AYSO and Club teams in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
andrew heuer
This Fall, Niall will be joined by our second PDO, Andrew Heuer. Drew worked at Agoura High School where, as Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team, he had an undefeated season leading the team to the Marmonte League Championship earlier this year. Drew comes with vast experience of coaching both male and female teams having been Assistant Coach and Head Coach of Castro Valley High School's Women's Junior Varsity Team, and as Head Coach of the Womens Varsity Team from Drew School, San Francisco. A native of California himself, Drew is one of UK International Soccer Camps' (UKISC) US based staff who knows AYSO, Club, High School and College soccer as both a player and Coach. We are sure Drew will be a huge assett to Region 42 this Fall.
